Calvert Plastics Ltd is a plastics manufacturing company specialising in thermoforming plastic sheet into products or components using moulds and processing equipment, and fabricating rigid plastic sheet.
Calvert Plastics Ltd began operations in 1959, the business being started by Geoff Calvert and son Murray in a double garage in Lower Hutt. The company moved to Stokes Valley in 1962 and in 2011 to its present premises in Wingate, Lower Hutt. This recent move will enable the company to help meet the increase in demand it is experiencing. Over the years, Calvert Plastics Ltd has been involved in a range of production methods, including compression moulding, injection moulding and rotational moulding. It now deals exclusively in vacuum forming and fabricating plastic sheet.
